Deplorable Avianca 787 Enterprise Class
Following a bad encounter on Avianca from San Salvador to Los Angeles, I likely should really have identified superior. The “business class” practical experience was definitely only a (a little bit) much more comfortable seat compared to economic climate class. But in traveling residence from London, I found place through Bogota and imagined I’d give Avianca an additional check out.
Definitely, the encounter on a longhaul flight on the carrier’s flagship 787 would not be so undesirable, correct?
Wrong…at minimum in terms of catering.
1st, the excellent. The company course seat, a reverse herringbone design seat, was good. The comforter was also tender and there was unique air vents, so I slept effectively.
2nd, the crew was good. They have been provided incredibly small to operate with and did the ideal they could. The flight attendant who worked my part was really friendly and obviously ashamed by the existing assistance amounts onboard.

Which is ideal, a crew food with a packaged sandwich and packaged dessert in small business class.
Even worse? Its was lukewarm – hot on the sides, chilly in the middle.
Breakfast was served before landing – once again, in an financial state class container. At least this time the omelet was heat. Regrettably, the espresso was just brown drinking water with out significantly flavor and the bread was chilly and difficult.
I’m sorry, but blaming your weak catering on the very long hiatus in London support is simply absurd. Avianca had months to get ready for its return and could have quickly labored with its caterer to provision proper small business class foods, which include salads and appetizers. Alternatively, we acquired a lukewarm crew food.

Disgrace on my fellow travellers for not cleaning up right after themselves, but it was clear that the flight attendants had not checked up on the lavatory throughout the flight.

Summary
Well, at the very least I slept…many would argue that is the most critical factor in intercontinental business class. But I take pleasure in a nicely-presented (and incredibly hot) meal and are unable to think how far Avianca has fallen. The provider is a shame to Colombia and definitely requirements to move it up.
