First Impressions: Gulf Air 787-9 “Falcon Gold” Business

I eventually had the possibility to try Gulf Air on its flagship route and I have to say…I was let down. Even though Gulf Air has terrific prospective and the “Falcon Gold” enterprise course cabin on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is amazing, the assistance was sadly a little bit off.

On boarding my flight to London I was really wowed by how astounding the cabin looked. From the color to the lights to the accents, it was lovely.

Right before landing there was afternoon tea company with sandwiches, cakes, and scones. The sandwiches ended up awful – stale and tasteless. A big disappointment for a provider from a country with a attractive delicacies.

It was also served two hrs before landing…far way too early, thinking about how quickly the provider went.

The headphones ended up also broken.

It was not all lousy, though. I appreciated the pajamas:

And as odd as it seems, the service was very well-intentioned, just not really nicely executed. It was significantly much more casual than I would at any time have envisioned on a Gulf provider.

Summary

I’ll have a great deal far more to say about this flight, such as the seat, IFE, amenity package, bathrooms, and foodstuff and beverages onboard in my whole trip report. Curiously, this flight will make me want to fly Gulf Air all over again, for the reason that I really feel like I flew them on an off-day.
